today in Australia a lot of Australian people (~100) - men, women and children - lost their lives to fire and whole communities were "eaten" by the wildfires.

Some days you just realise those "small" things in life really dont matter - no matter how much we want them to or make them out to. its only when you are smacked in the face by real tragedy that your sense of perspective is re- adjusted.

May whatever divine force is looking down - protect the volunteer firefighters, and the communities they seek to protect, from the ultimate sacrifice.
